• Positive business results continue

  Novo mesto, 16 November 2006 – At a press conference today, Jože Colarič, Head of the Krka Management Board, and board members presented the operating results for the first three-quarters of the year, which it discussed at its meeting yesterday, and which were also assessed as very successful by the Supervisory Board. The Krka Group recorded sales worth SIT 120.1 billion (EUR 501 million), an increase of 23% compared to the same period last year. It achieved an operating profit of SIT 26.8 billion (EUR 111.9 million) which is a growth of 34% on last year, and a pre-tax profit of SIT 26.0 billion (EUR 108.5 million), representing growth of 27%. The net profit grew 28% to SIT 19.1 million (EUR 79.8 million). The planned sales for 2007 are expected to reach EUR 0.75 billion.
  
• Krka Prizes awarded to young researchers

  Novo mesto, 27 October 2005 – Today the ceremony is held at the “Janez Trdina” Cultural Centre in Novo mesto to accompany the presentation of 36th Krka Prizes. This year 48 young researchers and/or 37 research assignments are awarded. Jože Colarič, President of the Management Board and Chief Executive of Krka and Dr Aleš Rotar, Member of the Management Board of Krka and President of the Krka Prizes Fund Council, have presented 5 Krka Prizes for special research achievements, and 25 Krka Prizes for papers at graduate and post-graduate level, 4 for papers at secondary school level and 3 e-Krka Prizes, which are presented this year for the first time. Over all these years Krka has presented as many as 2,147 awards.
  
• Krka's sales continue to perform effectively

  Novo mesto, 10 October 2006 – In the nine months of this year Krka’s sales of products and services were SIT 120 billion and grew by 23% over the same period last year. The positive sales growth trend from previous months continues also on Krka Company level, with Krka Company sales at SIT 105.1 billion, growing 20% over the period from January to September 2005.
  
• Opening tournament at the new Otočec golf course

  Otočec, 29 September 2006 – The Directors of Terme Krka and Golf Grad Otočec, Vlado Petrovič in Albin Kregar, today invited a variety of golfing enthusiasts to the opening of the new golf course at Otočec where they also organised a golf tournament. At the same time a humanitarian action took place, in which each participant could contribute a sum of money and the raised funds, to which Krka will also make a contribution, will be donated to the Paediatric Unit of the Novo mesto General Hospital.
  
• Terme Krka – with a new hotel, a new wellness and relaxation centre and a new golf course

  Šmarješke Toplice, 14th September 2006 – Terme Krka, which incorporates thermae in Dolenjska, Šmarješke Toplice, the Otočec Hotels and also the Hotel Krka in Novo mesto which includes the seaside health spa resort in Strunjan is, at today’s official opening at Terme Šmarješke Toplice, announcing the results of two major investments – an investment of significant importance in conjunction with an investment of 3 billion tolars. The Vitarium Hotel, with its wellness and relaxation centre at Šmarješke Toplice (for which Terme Krka obtained funds from the European Union) as well as the nearby golf course at Otočec, are both tremendous assets which will greatly enhance the quality and richness of the already existing tourist attractions in the Dolenjska region.
  
• Krka returns positive half-year operating results

  Otočec, 3 August 2006 – At today’s press conference at Otočec Castle, the Krka Management Board presented its operating results for the first half year, which it discussed at a session yesterday, and which were assessed as very successful by the Supervisory Board. Jože Colarič, the President of Krka’s Management Board and CEO, announced that both the Krka Group and the Krka Company had performed very well. The Krka Group generated sales worth SIT 82.3 billion (25% growth on last year), the operating profit was SIT 19 billion (45%), net profit was SIT 12.4 billion (23%), with the expenses including additional provisions of SIT 4 billion formed due to lawsuits in course.
  
• 11^th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Krka

  Otočec, 6 July 2006 – Today at 12.00 (local time), the 11th Annual General Meeting of shareholders of the pharmaceutical company was held at Hotel Šport, Otočec ob Krki. Present shareholders represented 37.18% of the company’s share capital. This year the gross dividend will be 1,650 SIT. Jože Colarič, President of the Management Board and Chief Executive informed the participants about the sales results for the first six months of 2006. In this period the Krka Group sales were up 25% compared to the same period last year. The Krka Group recorded sales of SIT 82.3 billion, and the Krka Company of SIT 72.8 billion (23% growth). The first evaluation of business performance of the Krka Group and of the Krka Company for the first half of 2006 shows a two-digit growth rate compared to the results in the same period last year. The business results for the first half of 2006 will be published at the beginning of August 2006.
  
• Krka Awards

  Otočec, 2 June 2006 – Today Krka invited employees celebrating long-service jubilees to an official celebration at the Otočec tennis centre, as well as selected managers and staff, and people that have made the best proposals and improvements to running the company over the past year. A set of plaques were presented to recognise employee achievements.
  
• Krka Continues Successful Operations

  Novo Mesto, 23 March 2006 – At a press conference held today, Jože Colarič, the President of Krka's Management Board and CEO, and colleagues presented the Krka Group's final operating results for 2005 and the Krka Group and company's ongoing operations. Last year the Krka Group recorded sales of SIT 132.8 billion (17% growth), creating a net profit of SIT 23.3 billion (49% growth). According to initial forecasts, the company and Group have also been operating successfully in the first quarter of 2006, with Group sales up by over 25% compared to the same period last year.
