• Krka's eleven-month 2001 sales results

  Novo mesto, 5 December 2001 - Krka, d.d., Novo mesto (the Company) has achieved the turnover of SIT 66.5 billion in eleven months of 2001, which represents a 20% sales growth compared to the corresponding period in 2000. Furthermore, the accomplished results are exceeding the 2001 budget targets.

  Novo mesto, 15 November 2001 - At an official presentation ceremony today in Krka, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Slovenia Dr. Maciej Szymanski has in the name of the President of Poland Alexander Kwaњniewski, awarded Mr. Miloš Kovačič, Krka's President of the Management Board with the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland for outstanding merit in the development of the Polish - Slovenian cooperation.

  Warsaw, 30 October 2001 - The President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Alexsander Kwaњniewski and the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Milan Kučan officially opened the new pharmaceutical factory - KRKA Polska.

  According to the results of the Eminence 2001 public opinion poll, carried out for the seventh successive year by the Kline&Kline Agency, in the estimation of the general and business public Krka ranks at the top of the scale of the most eminent and reputed companies in Slovenia.
  
• The year 2000 - successful for Krka

  Novo mesto, 30 January 2001 - The year 2000 was a business success for Krka. By comparison with the previous year, sales were increased by 19 percent. Total sales amounted to SIT 61.2 billion and, together with Krka Health Resorts, to SIT 65.5 billion. The sum of SIT 10.4 billion was earmarked for investments. At Business Central Europe, Krka is ranked in first place among the Slovenian companies.
