• Krka expresses its best wishes with a humanitarian gesture

  Novo mesto, 23 December 2002 - At Slovenia's largest pharmaceutical company, we have decided that the funds which are normally allocated for festive greetings should be used instead for the presentation of useful gifts. This is why we have decided, both in Slovenia and on our other major markets, to present gifts of pharmaceutical products, amounting in value to SIT 2,000,000 each, to meet the needs of individual health institutions.
  

• Krka's Prizes - Festival of Knowledge and Creativity

  Novo mesto, 24 and 25 October 2002. During the last week in October, at the Novo mesto cultural centre KC Janeza Trdine, a ceremony was held on the occasion of the presentation of the 32nd Krka Prizes, which this year once again enriched the scientific Symposium with international participation.
  
• A new Development and Control Centre II opened in Krka
  23 October 2002
  Novo mesto, 23rd October 2002 – Today Krka ceremonially opened the new Development and Control Centre II in Locna. The guest of honour and the speaker was Slovenian Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Dušan Keber. In his speech, Krka's President of the Managing Board and Chief Executive Miloš Kovacic emphasized the importance of a one and a half billion tolars worth investment for further development of innovative generics in the company.
  
• Krka’s nine-month 2002 sales results

  Novo mesto, 18 October 2002 – In the first nine month of 2002 Krka, d. d., Novo mesto has achieved the total revenues of SIT 58 billion, which represents a 12% sales growth compared to the corresponding period in 2001. The accomplished results are in line with the 2002 sales budget.
  
• Krka in line with the plans

  Novo mesto, 15 July 2002 - In the first half of 2002 the sales of Krka joint-stock company, amounted to SIT 41 billion, an 11 percent increase compared to the corresponding period in the previous year and is in line with the planned sales targets for the complete year 2002. Exports represented more than 80 percent of total sales, while other sales were achieved on the domestic market.
  
• Krka opened one part of the new production facility in Russia
  12 June 2002
  Novo mesto, 12 June 2002 - Today Krka has opened the warehousing part of the new production facility in the modern industrial area in the outskirts of Istra, northwest of Moscow. The up-to-date investment into this new facility amounted to USD 15 million. However, the total investment value is evaluated at USD 25 million. Furthermore, this new facility is expected to engage the workforce of 120 people.
  
• Supervisory Board meeting resolutions and 1st quarter 2002 sales results release

  Novo mesto, 25 April 2002 – the Supervisory Board of Krka, d. d., Novo mesto held its meeting today and adopted the 2001 Annual Report. In addition, the Supervisory and the Management Board proposed the dividend-per-share in the gross amount of SIT 950. Furthermore, previous members of the Management Board were re-appointed with a 5-year mandate and the agenda for the 7th Annual Shareholders’ Meeting was adopted.
  
• Krka opened a new plant
  12 April 2002
  Novo mesto, 12 April 2002 - This morning Krka officially opened Notol, a new plant for the production of solid dosage forms, the largest and most important investment in the company's history. The construction of the plant started in 1998, it spans over 23,124 m2 and the value of this investment is SIT 14.5 billion. The guest of honour at the opening ceremony was the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Milan Kučan.
  
• Krka holds third place on the ladder of foreign pharmaceutical producers on the Russian market

  Novo mesto, 5 March 2002 - On the ladder of the Russian journal Farmacevtski vestnik (Pharmaceutical Gazette), Krka ranks in third place among the foreign pharmaceutical producers.
  
• Krka 2001 results exceeding set objectives

  Novo mesto, 22 January 2002 - Yet another successful business year for Krka has passed by. Our sales amounted to SIT 72 billion, together with health resorts we achieved sales of nearly SIT 77 billion. The highest growth of sales was achieved in the states of Eastern Europe.
  
• Krka 1st in Ukraine

  Novo mesto, 9 April 2002 - The central Ukrainian pharmaceutical publication "APTEKA" has recently published the list of the best pharmaceutical companies, which supply Eastern Europe with pharmaceuticals. Among all foreign pharmaceutical producers present on the Ukrainian market, Krka achieved 1st position.
